Programme Funding Officer Emergencies
Salary from £27,000 gross per annum

Permanent. Based in London. Closing date: 12 December 2007.

HelpAge International is looking for an experienced fundraiser to join its Resource Development Team which raises funds for its projects and programmes in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Central and Eastern Europe. You will work closely with our World Wide Emergencies team and international offices to secure funding for our growing emergencies and disaster risk reduction programme.

Along with excellent analytical, research and communication skills, you will be a good team worker with experience of raising emergency and humanitarian funding from donors such as DFID, EC (ECHO) and OFDA. You must be willing to travel overseas for short periods and be able to work in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment.
