| Description: | Intermon Oxfam is looking to fill the position of Log Admin Officer for the humanitarian response in Boro Medina (South Sudan) for the International Cooperation Department.
JOB'S DESCRIPTION
Reporting hierarchically to the Field Manager and functionally to the Log Manager, the person selected will be responsible to implement the logistical strategies determined by the Log Manager and to implement the logistical activities for the project, supporting all teams of the project (humanitarian response in the camp of Boro Medina, South Sudan).
Main responsibilities:
- To provide the project with the necessary means for the good development of the activities. To ensure a good use and maintenance of the equipment. - To participate to the evaluation, preparation and planning of new activities within the project's geographical area. - Daily management of security at project's level. - To participate in the making of the budget at project's level and budget follow-up for anything related to logistics. - Management of logistical national staff reporting to him: contracts, supervision, support, evaluation, training, post profiles elaboration and updates. - Accounting: to manage cash for the purchase / building /contracts at project's level. REQUIRED PROFILE Experience in finance/management in international cooperation programs, preferably with international ngos. Experience with international donors and grants requirements. Computer skills in spreadsheets and software for administrative management of projects. (Desirable Knowledge of SAGA system) Ability to plan and monitor the management of human and financial resources. Experience in dealing with staff management (national & international). Ability to work effectively and sensitively within different value systems and cultures and commitment to humanitarian principles. Good cross-cultural communication/ skills as well as organisational, monitoring and reporting skills. Good knowledge of English language, both written and spoken WORK CONDITIONS Contract of employment: Contract of 4 months. Salary: According to the Intermón Oxfam's country salary scale. Social benefits: Medical, life and accident insurance and children' benefit. Holidays: 30 natural days per year.
