Salary: Currently Kshs. 169,654.46/month

As well as supporting the regional humanitarian team and the country teams in the region in their humanitarian work (including assessing, monitoring and evaluation humanitarian projects, and representing CAFOD in humanitarian coordination mechanisms), the post holder will also act as focal point for water projects, providing technical support to staff and partners for water projects in the region. The post holder will be expected to provide training in Emergency Preparedness with strategic partners in accordance with the wider CAFOD regional strategy.

The successful candidate will have experience of coordinating or managing humanitarian responses, including projects funded by international donors. A sound knowledge of international humanitarian standards and confidence in supporting local Church and NGO partners are also essential.
