Since 1994, the Alliance and its partners have supported over 3,000 projects, in over 40 countries, reaching millions of people.
We are seeking a Senior Programme Officer (SPO) to support the Alliance Linking organizations to enhance community responses to HIV/AIDS at national and regional level.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of The International HIV/AIDS Alliance Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) team in Brighton. You will be managing and supporting programmes addressing the most vulnerable groups in the Latin America and the Caribbean region.
Educated to a post-graduate degree level or equivalent, you will have significant programme management experience and broad knowledge of international development matters with specific focus in HIV/AIDS community action. It is desirable to have knowledge of work in highly complex and hostile areas as well as availability to travel to the region. You will be fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish. A good knowledge of French and or Portuguese is also desirable.
