We are a dynamic organisation, with the potential to be so much more. The world's leading independent children's charity, we inspire dramatic change for children in the UK and around the globe and we believe that children can't wait. The scale of our work presents a unique challenge in security management. And this is why we need you.

Helping support our emergency responses around the world, you'll undertake a huge range of humanitarian security work. This is varied and important role - one that offers considerable exposure to all aspects of security. Humanitarian security is a highly specialised subject; for Save the Children security is an enabler to humanitarian action and effective responses in emergencies, humanitarian and development programmes and in upholding child rights - your expertise will help us go further and sustain our work.

To succeed, you'll need the confidence to travel into some of the world's most hostile environments armed only with your own experience and that of the people we work with. The ability to constantly adapt your approach, knowing that one solution does not work for all of our activities or for the context and places we work, will help you ensure our people are aware, empowered and able to avoid the risks that often accompany the work we do.
