| Description: | World Concern is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to providing life, opportunity, and hope in the most neglected and impoverished places on earth. World Concern has field workers and professionals in 18 countries, whose people are under siege by HIV/AIDS, hunger, natural disasters, oppression, war, and disease. World Concern works closely with local communities to eliminate core causes of poverty, with an emphasis on livelihood training, literacy and education; access to clean water, food and health care; disaster assistance; and special initiatives. In 2006, we served 5.5 million people in 32 countries. World Concern is seeking a Finance and HR Manager to design and manage all accounting systems for World Concern and its partners, ensuring that all financial transactions are fully accounted for. Draft and recommend local personnel policies and enforce those that are approved. Source and support all national staff. World Concern is leading an alliance of 6 Christian relief and development organizations responding to humanitarian needs in Eastern Chad. The program is an integrated approach in wat/san, livelihoods and health. Requires: BA in Finance, Business Administration, related field or CPA. Experience in grant and HR management, previous non-profit experience preferably in int'l context. Intermediate French required. Unaccompanied post.
