Description:World Concern has been working in Sri Lanka since the 2004 Tsunami, helping communities rehabilitate, providing income generating livelihood programs by providing support in small business, farming/aquaculture, animal husbandry, community planning, disaster preparedness and psychosocial care and support. World Concern, an international Christian relief and development organization, is seeking a Country Director to provide overall organizational leadership and management for both relief and development programs. The Country Director will have strong experience in leadership, management, country representation in a complex political environment, program development and oversight, partnering, fundraising and the ability to engage at a strategic level with senior UN, INGO and Government officials. Requirements: proven success in development and relief program management, preferably 5 years experience managing personnel and finances, experience in developing international donor partnerships, intercultural skills and team-building skills. Understand and ability to adapt to multiple stakeholder accountability relationships Working experience in Sri Lanka or a similar location preferred.
