Description:World Concern, a recognized and experienced international Christian disaster response and development organization, is seeking a Director of Disaster Response to prepare for, direct and support disaster responses. World Concern responds to natural, man-made and complex emergencies throughout the world.

The Director will develop policy and procedures for responding to disasters. In addition to managing responses, the Director will provide technical consultation to Regional Directors and develop partnerships with other agencies and donors. Requires BA degree plus 7 years of proven success in international disaster response management, leading multi-cultural teams, able to design, present and execute strategic plans. Solid successful record of obtaining large scale funding from USAID, USDOS or other USG entities. Seattle-based, travel 30% in unstable conditions.
