Description:As Head of HR for ODI, Britain's leading independent think tank on the
reduction of poverty in the developing world, you will have the opportunity to make
a difference by working with highly respected researchers and policy developers.
You will lead on organisational development, manage cultural change, deliver effective
recruitment and training, devise policy and advise managers on employment law and
HR best practice.
Building strong relationships throughout the 130+ organisation, you will work with
staff to ensure they are supported and developed and you will also manage a small
HR team.
Educated to degree level, you will be CIPD qualified with proven success in all aspects
of human resources management including:
• Recruitment and retention;
• People development;
• Employment law;
• Change management.
In addition, you will be professional, an excellent relationship builder, have good written
skills and be resourceful to achieve positive outcomes within a challenging environment.
