If so, then join us at SEEDS, a non governmental organization (NGO) working in the field of Disaster Risk Reduction and other crosscutting developmental issues. SEEDS is seeking Graphic designer/Visualizers to join our creative team and play a leadership role in creating out of the box communication material. Responsibilities: The designer should be able to convert briefs into relevant campaigns and will be responsible for the conception, design and production of power packed communication. S/he must be able to coordinate with the content development team in producing impactful IEC material. The position is expected to help us deliver quality and add to our creative strength. Good conceptualisation, a taste for design layout, colour & font selection S/he must be highly organized, efficient, and flexible through all phases of projects and in working with all project team members. If need be, you would required to travel and interact with local communities to get the real feel of the place. He/she would be responsible for developing quality and cycle time parameters for creative inputs and driving continuous improvement initiatives for improving on creativity of projects. Educational Requirements: Bachelor of Fine Arts or similar degree in Graphic Design Over two years of experience or equivalent combination of formal education/training and experience. Skills: Extensive knowledge and experience in a Microsoft-based design and production system, and updated software like Photoshop, Corel Draw, Indesign and Illustrator. Web-based production and 3D software will be an added advantage. Strong project management skills, organizational skills and time-management skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to think conceptually and visually, from the big-picture overview to details Ability to work within a team Result-oriented and independent thinker Must be detail oriented and have the ability to deliver on time and work under deadline pressure Possesses a strong portfolio of imaginative work.
